Anxiety and Coping Strategies in Middle School

This 64 google slide presentation also, saved as a .pdf file, corresponds with the wordless graphic novel, small things, by Mel Tregonning.  It follows the journey of a young boy struggling with anxiety and finding the support system and coping skills to make the transition to his new school.  This unit is designed for upper elementary or middle school.  It is intended to last approximately one week.  (**I included a visit from our school’s social worker to work on coping and relaxation strategies in the middle of the book.)
